New Single "Better Know Better"
2019 Release
I'm excited to announce that my new single "Better Know Better" is due to be released worldwide in 2019
Recorded at Brotheryn Studios in Ojai California weeks before the Thomas California wildfire broke out.
I decided to try a live, in studio, session with stellar musicians; Mario Calire of Ozomatli (drums), Eric Sullivan of Lissie (guitar), Oliwa of He's my brother, She's my sister (bass) and Aaron Embry of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (Organ). Stay posted!
Artists Collaborate for a Cause
In the wake of the 2017 Thomas Fire artist's from and associated with the area of Ojai, California banded together to help those still recovering from this disaster by compiling an album consisting of original and unrealeased songs. All proceeds will go to local charity organization http://greatergoodsojai.org who have already raised $140k in their efforts.
Sophie is delighted to be featured on the album with her new song "Nothing lasts forever" recorded in Ojai at Brotheryn Studios.
December 4th marks the anniversary of the disaster and the release of the album! The new record label Helpful Humans will be distributing the release.
